All Davidson College students who have an interest in the medical profession should be members of

The Davidson College Premedical Society.

This organization provides opportunities for leadership, citizenship and education through a variety of services, including a speaker's program, community service and social activities. Through election to the national premedicine honor society,

Alpha Epsilon Delta (AED),

students are recognized for academic excellence and service to the community. Students who have achieved an overall GPA of 3.25 are eligible to apply for membership to AED after three semesters of introductory science courses.
