Senior goalie Tim Curlett played a solid first half for us, holding the Winthrop Eagles to one goal; senior defenseman turned goalie Matt Monson shut out the Winthrop Eagles thanks to defensive debuts by Garen Riedel and Ryan Robertson in the second half. Thanks to our defensive cadre of Geoff Fehling and sophomore John Hoke (WV) who graciously stayed in their regular positions throughout the game. And thanks to our visiting fans, the Robertsons and Ms. Hoke.
