Whether or not the Asian Studies Concentration is for you, Davidson offers lots of opportunities for learning about Asia and Asian cultures.

The Dean Rusk Program offers a variety of activities related to international studies, ranging from student publications to guest speakers. The Student Advisory Committee (SAC) plans and carries out many of these activities. Student interests guide the selection of speakers and topics for conferences, forums and publications. The Dean Rusk Program also provides financial support for research, study and service projects in Asia.
The Study Abroad Office helps students identify study abroad programs that meet their academic needs. The Study Abroad Office can help you figure out how to make study in Asia fit both your schedule and your budget.
The International Students Association brings together US-born and international students for fun and learning. The ISA provides opportunities to get to know students from Asia; you also can help promote awareness of Asian cultures on campus through activities such as the International Fair.
The Center for Interdisciplinary Studies allows students with a very strong interest in Asia to go beyond the Asian Studies Concentration to design their own majors focusing on aspects of Asia.
