A.K. Phifer Award in Economics, 2008
"This year’s Phifer Award winner has been an outstanding student of economics, mastering both the “big picture” implications of the theories and the mathematical details of the models. Further, he has eagerly worked as a tutor to help beginning economics students advance their knowledge, and he is the incoming president of Omicron Delta Epsilon, the economics honorary society.Besides demonstrating superb skills in economics, he has excelled in course work in Spanish, and he will be doing extended research in urban areas in Latin America during the coming summer. The Department of Economics is pleased to present the A.K. Phifer Award to Thaddeus Peter Sieracki." (Award Citation)
