Other activities Members of the ODE, and particularly its officers, have taken a strong leadership role in enhancing the experience of economics majors and minors. Members of the ODE provide the core energy and initiative in developing the activities of the Economics Center. They have done so through their strong support of the Economics Center, co-sponsoring speaking/workshop events with the Center. In addition, they have taken great initiative in planning a mentor program, to be sponsored by the Economics Center, for junior economics majors and minors. Members of the ODE are currently developing a plan for the implementation of an online newsletter, which will be managed under the aegis of the Economics Center. |
