English Standard 6: Teachers use effective strategies and techniques in teaching English Language Arts.
In the following Tuesdays with Morrie lesson plan, I develop interdisciplinary teaching strategies and materials by connecting Morrie's life philosophy to music. I promote students' active, personal engagement with the text and with music through reading, writing, and discussion. I've highlighted the specific activities in red.
