A text-centered magazine, The Egoist did
not include a wide variety of artwork. Instead, the
magazine typically featured several sketches by a few different
artists, such as Roald Kristian, whose sketch of Wyndham Lewis
from the March 1, 1916 issue, is pictured at left.

| Kristian's sketches, which
included drawings
of Richard Aldington,
an editor,
and F.S.
Flint, a contributor, frequently appeared in the magazine. Kristian's
sketch Tarr, at right,
served as an illustration to Wyndham
Lewis' serial contribution of the same name to the magazine. |
