Talbot, Elizabeth: [Lolita] The "little lesbian" whom Humbert was correct in speculating had taught Dolores about her first sexual experiences at camp the previous summer. He remembers with irony that Charlotte had often referred to her daughter's knowing the "Talbot girl."

Taxovich, Mr.: [Lolita] Also Maximovich. The man for whom Valeria leaves Humbert and with whom she moves to California.

Tennis: [Lolita] See Wills, Helen.

Tony: [Lolita] A florid-faced fellow with blue eyes who is one of a group of people that come to Clare Quilty's house as Humbert is murdering him. They interpret the shooting and Clare's struggle for life as a staged event for their pleasure.

Trapp, Gustave: [Lolita] a.k.a. Detective Trapp. The name Humbert assigns to the driver of the Aztec Red Convertible. At first, Trapp drives the red converitble, but pursuant cars are usually blue and of "the Chevrolet genus." Humbert attributes the name Trapp to his pursuer because the driver looks like Gustave Trapp, a deceased cousin of Humbert's father. He is remembered particularly for the use of the expression, "sicher ist sicher."
