Welcome to the Deutsche Fotogalerie©, a copyrighted collection of photographs administered by the Department of German and Russian at Davidson College. The site has been made possible by the generous support of the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) and Davidson College. It currently contains over one thousand high-resolution images of German-speaking culture, most of which were taken in Germany and Switzerland in the summer of 1998. In order to display an image, please select the index of your choice on the left, then click on a thumbnail to view the full-size image. To download, right-click the image and save to your hard drive (Macintosh users: press and hold the mouse button to save). Zip files will be made available upon request.

The images of this gallery are available for non-profit educational and research purposes only. Any other use of the materials featured at this site without the express written consent of Davidson College is strictly prohibited. No mirrors of this site, however incomplete, are permitted.
