APPERCEPTIVE AGNOSIA

  • Characterized by nearly perfectly intact visual ability on a basic sensory level (sight, acuity), but cannot form a visual percept of the object.

  • People with this type of agnosia fail tests such as visual matching, comparing similar figures, and copying drawings.
