TREATMENT

Some patients can be helped by attending rehabilitation
to make them aware of their deficiencies and to help them come up with
a strategy to compensate.

Clinical trials have shown that this can be a
very effective way to counteract the effects of lesions leading to
visual recognition disorders, although responses are often slow and
require a great deal of time and effort to execute even after hours of
training/practice.
