The cost of the program will be Davidson's comprehensive fee for the 2004 Fall semester (expected to be around $16,000). This will cover board and lodging during the pre-departure program in Davidson as well as in India; travel from Charlotte, NC to India/Nepal and back, visa fees, travel within India; local travel in Chennai by commuter train; and Davidson College tuition for four-course academic load.

The program fee will cover most expenses from the time the student arrives at the Davidson campus for orientation until he/she returns to Charlotte at the conclusion of the program. During travels, where necessary, students will be given an allowance for food and laundry charges. Expenses for celebrations such as Halloween and Thanksgiving will be met by the Program. Porterage, tips and entrance fees to museums, monuments and performances will be covered by the Program fee.
