We are proud of the fact that of all the study programs offered in India, Davidson's program offers the most extensive travel opportunities as an integral part of the program.  Most of our tour operators and hoteliers have been associated with our program since its inception. Southern Tours. During its stay at Chennai the group will take a weekend trip Mamallapuram and Kanchipuram. The group will also take another extended trip to Madurai, Bangalore and Mysore.  Southern Tour Photos

Kerala Region.  Kochi, Trichur, Munnar, Backwater country and Trivandurm

Eastern India.  Delhi, Lucknow, Varnasi and Calcutta.  Khajuraho may be added.

North India Tour. After leaving Chennai the group will travel together for 20 days visiting Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Ajanta and Ellora, Mumbai (Bombay) and Goa. The program will conclude at Delhi.  North India Tour Photos

Modes of Travel and Accommodations

Throughout their stay in India and Nepal the group will travel by very comfortable and the most efficient modes of transport. Travels within a 100 mile radius will be by chartered busses; 200 miles by train (in A/C sleeper coach) and over 200 miles by air. The students will be provided safe and comfortable accommodation usually in top range hotels. In Chennai students will be housed in the International Guest House of Madras Christian College.
