  • Reptile Day

The Herpetology lab annually hosts Reptile Day on campus, welcoming local community members to come learn about our work and get to know various species of reptiles and amphibians.

The college hosts an annual Reptile Day typically in early April from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the courtyard between the Dana and Watson Science Buildings on Davidson College Campus.

In addition, the Herpetology Lab provides free educational talks to groups in the Davidson area on the species of reptiles and amphibians in North Carolina and our current research in the lab. We have a variety of animals that we can bring to accompany these talks. If you would like to see if members of the herpetology lab can come give a talk to your group, please contact the department.
