We regularly advise our students in identifying and choosing careers or graduate schools, and the Center for Career Development also provides a large number of online and in-person services to assist students in finding internships, graduate programs, and career opportunities.
The Classics Department prepares you for graduate-level study through rigorous coursework and research opportunities. Our faculty members provide individual guidance to students pursuing graduate study and engage in candid conversation about job prospects within academia.

We focus on preparing students to read carefully, think critically, and express their ideas in whatever professional roles they find themselves. Recent graduates have worked in accounting, banking, consulting, law, medicine, and the ministry. Several are high school Latin teachers; one is an assistant college football coach.
