My research and teaching interests include contemporary francophone literature, performance studies, cultural studies and digital humanities. In my current book project, Writing on Stage: Performative Authorship and Contemporary Francophone African Writers, I investigate how today's writers from the continent working in French construct their authorial personae across print and digital platforms, and in personal appearances.
I have taught French language and literatures at Bates College, Boston University, Simmons College and Boston College.
