Background

My research focuses on issues related to public health, U.S. food systems, and the environment, including: the epidemiology of emerging infectious diseases and antimicrobial-resistant microbial pathogens in the U.S. food system; population health risk assessment for heavy metal exposure through the food supply chain; and policy, law and regulation relevant to domestic food production and public health.
