I teach modern religious thought and Christian theology and have special interests in critical animal studies, gender studies, and environmental studies. I also offer courses in environmental studies.


My publications include Literary Criticism and Biblical Hermeneutics, and a number of essays on Augustine, biblical interpretation, and the sublime.
