As part of the ACS Information Fluency Project for 2002-3, students from Dr. Shireen Campbell's English 101 course investigated the causes and/or effects of a major historic event at Davidson College. With technical support from fellow Davidson students Evans McGowan and Winston Kohler, their investigation resulted in five class web pages, one per team, on the following topics: Civil War and Reconstruction at Davidson, Coeducation at Davidson, Integration at Davidson, The Faculty Oath and Religion at Davidson, and the Vietnam War at Davidson. Collaborative teams in history classes at Furman University and Washington and Lee University also participated in the larger grant project.
