How to Find Book Reviews
|
General Tips
To locate a book review, first determine the book’s publication date. If you don't have the publication date, search the Library Catalogue or WorldCat, or
ask a librarian for help.
After you have identified the book's original publication date, select appropriate indexes to search. Be sure that the indexes cover the time period in which the book was published.
Finally, remember that not every book is reviewed.
To locate criticism and analysis of a literary work, consult one of the sources listed on the Indexes & Databases pages, especially those for English, French, German, Russian, or Spanish.
