Davidson's admission process does not consider financial need for domestic students and permanent residents, focused instead on each student's academic potential, character and accomplishments.

More than half of our students receive need-based aid, and 70 percent receive aid from some source.

Davidson Net Price Calculator

This tool can help you gauge your level of aid--and the approximate cost--of attending Davidson. You will see how we award our need-based financial aid under the terms of The Davidson Trust, while also assisting you in determining the annual out-of-pocket costs your family may incur. As always, our financial aid team remains available to work with you to develop a financial aid package that will make Davidson affordable for you.

Upon completion, you will receive the results and a data summary which you can print for your records. You can also email yourself a copy of the results.

Net Price Calculator

We invite you to spend approximately 12 minutes with this Calculator, to gain a better sense of Davidson's affordability and unique aid awarding philosophy.

The Net Price Calculator does not take the place of submitting an actual aid application. Once you apply for admission, you will need to complete and submit aid application forms.

Outside Scholarships and Resources

Learn more about the treatment of Outside Scholarships & Resources. In all cases, as soon as possible after they are notified of their outside award, students must complete and submit Davidson's Outside Resource Notification Form, so award adjustments may be made as needed. The Outside Resource Notification Form can be found on our Financial Aid Forms page.

Find Out How to Unlock Financial Aid Through the FAFSA

Every year, students and their families miss out on free money for college. By filling out the FAFSA, families can increase their chances of getting financial aid in the form of grants, loans, scholarships and work study positions.
