As an incoming student who has demonstrated an interest and exceptional ability in German, you could be eligible to receive the Bremer German Scholarship.
Established by C. Christopher Bremer, Class of 1960, this annual scholarship of $5,000 is awarded to one student in the incoming class.
The scholarship is renewable as long as you maintain the required grade point average, make expected progress toward your degree, and successfully complete at least one course in the German Department per year. In the junior and senior years, that course must be either offered through our Berlin program or a 400-level seminar course.
In addition to your application for admission and your scholarship application, you must submit a letter discussing your interest in the award, and your experiences and involvement in the study of German.
