As you make plans to attend the Black Alumni Reunion, please see below for some general event information, logistics and details.
Dress for the weekend is generally casual. You may wish to wear dressy casual Saturday evening for the reunion dinner and late-night party. Alumni attending the Friday evening networking event may wish to wear business casual.
Parking throughout the weekend is available in the Baker Sports Complex parking lot off Concord Road and in Stowe Parking lot. Directions and campus maps will be available at check-in. You can also review the online campus map
Prior to and following the signature events of the weekend, golf carts will be available to shuttle guests to and from the Baker Sports Complex parking lot as well as between event locations. If you need a ride to or from campus, please call Yellow Cab of Lake Norman at 704-888-8888 or contact Uber either using your existing account, or create one at uber.com
A list of recommended Davidson community members will be available to alumni interested in hiring a babysitter during Reunion Weekend. To request a list, please email Ashley Neff at firstname.lastname@example.org
closer to Reunion Weekend. All questions regarding scheduling, availability and payment should be made directly with the babysitter. Please note the college does not provide training or supervision of the babysitters nor has it performed background checks on the babysitters listed.
If you require special assistance during Reunion Weekend, we are happy to help. Reunion Weekend facilities and on-campus housing locations are ADA-compliant. Please contact the Special Events Office at 704-894-2545 to arrange any accommodations.
Our caterers will do their best to accommodate individuals with special dietary restrictions. However, they must know in advance. When you register please be sure to list specifics on your form. It is imperative that you submit your registration by February 1 so we can provide you with the meals you need. Last minute requests may not be possible to accommodate.

In order to grant a refund, we must receive notice of cancellation prior to the reunion weekend. Refunds requested prior to the deadline will be processed within 30 days.
A list of who is officially registered for the weekend will be available on a weekly basis starting in February. Also check the Reunion Facebook page
for an informal count.
