Hurricane Joaquin heard something great was happening at Davidson this weekend and is thinking of joining us for Homecoming 2015. Based on current forecasts for wind and rain and the possible effects of such weather, we wanted to share an update on the events we have planned this weekend.
All events on Friday, Oct. 2, are on as scheduled as of right now. This includes Diversity at Davidson dialogue on racism, the Davidson Black Alumni Network happy hour in Charlotte, the women’s volleyball game against George Mason in Baker Sports Complex, the Young Alumni Social in Charlotte, and the night of jazz at Summit Coffee’s on-campus location
Several of the events on Saturday have been moved or canceled. Please visit the events schedule for updates. While Joaquin is affecting some of our plans, he cannot spoil all the fun!
Most Homecoming events are free and open to everyone. Several do require pre-registation (including the Homecoming Tailgate). Be sure to review the schedule and R.S.V.P. today!
