Here are some useful tips and information as you make your plans to return for Reunion Weekend.
The registration deadline is Friday, May 22, after which a late fee will be applied. You may register online by class year or through the registration brochure mailed to you. To make any changes to your reservation or to cancel, please email us or call 704-894-2111.
The Welcome Center in the Nancy O. Blackwell Alumni House, located at 420 N. Main, is the information source for the weekend. Stop here as soon as you arrive on campus! Check in and pick up your registration materials and your class-specific weekend schedule including information about final event locations. Short-term parking for those checking in is available in the Smith House and Admission parking lots.
Our caterers will do their best to accommodate those with dietary restrictions, however they must know in advance. It is imperative that you submit your registration by the deadline so we can provide the meals you need.
Parking is available at the Baker Sports Complex parking lot off Concord Road. Short-term parking is available in the Smith House and Admission parking lots on Main Street for those checking in at the Welcome Center.
Golf carts will shuttle alumni and guests from Baker parking lot, starting 30 minutes before each event. The carts will be available following each event to return you to Baker parking lot or deliver you to your next event. If you need a ride to or from campus, please call Yellow Cab of Lake Norman at 704-664-3232.
Dress for the weekend is casual. Attire for your class dinner is dressy casual, unless indicated otherwise by your class chairs. Please note that many of the weekend events will take place outside on lawns or under tents. Please check the weather forecast in advance.
In addition to the official class photo, a photographer will be on campus throughout the weekend to take candid photographs. These photos will be available through our online gallery for download or purchase shortly after the weekend. We reserve the right to use these photos in future promotional materials. If you have privacy concerns, please email us.
Bring your kids along! Reunion Weekend is structured with families in mind. There will be plenty of on-campus activities that will appeal to both children and teens. Several athletic and classroom back-to-school classes on Friday are designed to be family friendly.
A referral list of Davidson community members will be provided to alumni interested in hiring a babysitter during Reunion Weekend. Please email us for a copy of the list. The babysitters are recommended by members of the Davidson community. All questions regarding scheduling, availability and payment should be made directly with the babysitter. Please note the college does not provide training or supervision of the babysitters, nor has it performed background checks.
For those with children ages 4-16, we are pleased to offer specific event through Camp Reunion on Friday and Saturday evenings. Children and teenagers will be provided a variety of age-appropriate activities throughout the evening. Davidson students who have completed background checks will supervise Camp Reunion. If you would like your child or teenager to participate, sign up when you complete your Reunion Weekend registration. Pre-registration is required in order to maintain a safe adult-to-child ratio. We are unable to accommodate walk-ins, children who are under the age of four or children who are not potty-trained.
The cost for one night of Camp Reunion (Friday or Saturday) is $40 for one child and $10 for each additional child. The cost for both nights is $75 for one child and $15 for each additional child.

In order to grant a refund, we must receive notice of cancellation. No refund requests will be accepted after Friday, May 22. Refunds requested prior to the deadline will be mailed after Reunion Weekend. For registration questions, call us at 704-894-2111.
Davidson tries to keep Reunion costs to a minimum while offering a wide range of activities. Should your financial situation prevent you from attending, please email us or call 704-894-2642 to discuss your options confidentially.
If you require special assistance during Reunion Weekend, we are happy to help. Reunion Weekend facilities and on-campus housing locations are ADA-compliant accessible buildings. Email or call 704-894-2545 to arrange accommodations.
A fitness center will be available throughout the weekend for those interested in exercising. It is equipped with treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, Nautilus equipment, exercise balls, and stretching mats. The fitness center is located on the first floor of the Alvarez College Union and will be accessible from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and from 7 a.m. to noon on Sunday.
Alumni are welcome to visit the Davidson College Lake Campus (152 Lake Campus Drive) from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Reunion Weekend. Bring a bathing suit and a picnic. As a reminder, alcohol is not permitted.
Stop by the Alumni Welcome Center to receive your special reunion discount to be used at the newly located Davidson College Store (137 North Main Street, Davidson). Store hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Open containers are not permitted outdoors on the Davidson Campus. Davidson Campus Police will enforce this policy throughout the weekend.
If an emergency arises while you are attending Reunion Weekend, family and friends may contact the campus police at 704-894-2178. Please make sure they know with which class you are associated.
