Here are some useful tips and information as you make your plans to return for Reunion Weekend.
Registration opens Thursday, April 2, and the deadline is Friday, May 22. To make any changes to your reservation or to cancel, please contact the Office of Alumni Relations at 704-894-2110 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Stop here as soon as you arrive on campus! Visit the Welcome Center in the Nancy O. Blackwell Alumni House, located at 420 N. Main Street to check in and pick up registration materials. Short-term parking for those checking in is available in the Smith House and Admission parking lots.
Our caterers will do their best to accommodate individuals with special dietary restrictions; however, they must know in advance. It is imperative that you submit your registration by Friday, May 22, so we can provide you with the meals you need. Last minute requests may not be possible to accommodate.
Parking throughout the weekend is available in the Baker Sports Complex parking lot off Concord Road. Short-term parking for those checking in is available in the Smith House and Admission parking lots. Directions and campus maps will be available the Welcome Center. You can also review the online campus map.
Prior to and following the signature events of the weekend, golf carts will be available to shuttle guests to and from the Baker Sports Complex parking lot as well as between event locations. During the weekend, if you are in need of a shuttle please call (980) 322-9819. If you need a ride to or from campus, please call Yellow Cab of Lake Norman at 704-664-3232.
If an emergency arises while you are attending Reunion Weekend, family and friends may contact the Davidson College Campus Police at 704-894-2178. Please make sure they know the class with which you are associated.
In the case of inclement weather, check back here to confirm if a rain plan was put into effect. You can also call the weather hotline at (704) 894-3026 or opt in for texting (see below under "Reunion Updates"). Please note that the rain plan may go into effect even it is not currently raining if the ground is too soggy to set up chairs and tables.
A photographer will be on campus throughout the weekend to take candid photographs. These photos, along with your official class photo, will be available through our online gallery shortly after the weekend. Davidson College reserves the right to use these photos in future promotional materials. If you have privacy concerns, please email us.
Dress for the weekend is usually casual. The class dinner attire is dressy casual unless indicated otherwise by your reunion committee. (Men typically wear khakis and a golf/button-down shirt and women wear a sundress or nice slacks and a blouse.) Please note that many of the weekend events will take place outside on lawns or under tents. Please check the weather forecast as the weekend approaches.
In order to grant a refund, we must receive notice of cancellation. No refund requests will be accepted after Friday, May 22. Refunds requested prior to the deadline will be processed. Please note that refunds take 7-10 days to process. Please contact the Office of Alumni Relations with questions at 704-894-2110 or email us.
Davidson tries to keep reunion costs to a minimum while offering a wide range of quality activities. Should your financial situation prevent you from attending, please contact Marya Howell in the Office of Alumni Relations by email or call 704-894-2642 to discuss your options confidentially.
If you require special assistance during Reunion Weekend, we are happy to help! Reunion Weekend facilities and on-campus housing locations are ADA-compliant. Please contact Judith Rowles in the Office of Alumni Relations by email or call 704-894-3003 to arrange any accommodations.
The Nisbet Fitness Center will be available to alumni and families throughout the weekend. It is equipped with treadmills, bikes, elliptical machines, Nautilus equipment, exercise balls, and stretching mats. The fitness center is located on the first floor of the Alvarez College Union and will be accessible from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and from 7 a.m. to Noon on Sunday. (Note: Baker Sports Complex will only be open and available on Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
We invite you to visit the Oasis, a new reflection, meditation, and prayer space provided by the Chaplain's Office, located on the fourth floor of the Alvarez College Union. Open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Open for alumni between 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily during Reunion Weekend. Bring a bathing suit, picnic and your nametag to present to the gate attendant for admittance. As a reminder, no alcohol is allowed.
For anyone wishing to play golf on Friday, June 5, River Run Country Club will be providing tee times for Reunion Weekend attendees. River Run is a private golf club three miles east of campus and is home of the Men's Golf team and host site of the Chiquita Classic, a web.com playoff event. For more information, please call the River Run Pro Shop at 704-896-7355.
Open containers are not permitted outdoors on the Davidson campus. Davidson Campus Police will enforce this policy throughout the weekend.

Special Davidson tumblers can be ordered with your registration and can be picked up at the Welcome Center during Reunion.
