The Smith Gallery will feature a small group show of our rising senior (Class of 2018) art majors. The Van Every Gallery will feature an exhibition entitled Recent Acquisitions showcasing recently acquired works into our permanent collections.

Stop by to meet the team in the Center for Career Development and learn about the numerous ways we are supporting Davidson students and early career alumni on their professional journeys. Members of the Ne Ultra Society honoring leadership giving and the Maxwell Chambers Society honoring planned giving are invited to attend this special reception. Invitations were mailed to members of these giving societies. 

Camp Reunion

A variety of activities will be provided for those children and teenagers ages 4-14 throughout the night. Dinner will be served.

Shabbat Services
6 to 7 p.m.
Temple Kol Tikvah (605 South St.)
Join Temple Kol Tikvah and the entire Lake Norman Jewish Community in Friday evening Shabbat services. 

5th - 40th Reunions Welcome Back Party
6:30 to 10 p.m.
Alvarez College Union
Join other reunion classes along with current and retired faculty to celebrate the weekend's festivities! Enjoy fajitas and an open wine and beer bar with your classmates at this merry celebration.

45th and 50th Reunions Welcome Back BBQ
6:30 to 10 p.m.
Vail Commons 
Meet up with others from your class as the weekend kicks into full gear! Arrive in time for the open bar cocktail hour outside of Vail Commons on Patterson Court, and then come inside to enjoy delicious barbeque at this festive celebration. 

55th and 60th Reunion Dinners
6:30 p.m.
Individual class dinners will take place for those celebrating their 55th and 60th Reunions. Join fellow class members at this special reception and dinner. Come ready to take your class photo!

Join alumna Jaimie (Matthews) Francis '07 as she leads a bone marrow typing drive for Be the Match. It only takes about 10 minutes to be swabbed and entered into the National Marrow Registry. 

Academic Building Visits
Noon to 4 p.m.
Take a walk down memory lane by visiting several academic buildings. Chambers, E. Craig Wall Jr. Academic Center, E.H. Little Library, Cunningham Theatre Center, Watson Life Sciences (Baker-Watt Science Complex), and Sloan Music Center (formerly the Student Union and library) will be open to explore. Please note that some of the classrooms will be locked due to set up for academic summer camps or safety rules.

"On the Map" Movie Screening
1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
Hance Auditorium, Chambers Building 
"On the Map" tells the against-all-odds story of Maccabi Tel Aviv's 1977 European Championship, which took place at a time when the Middle East was still reeling from the 1973 Yom Kippur War, the 1972 Olympic Massacre at Munich, and the 1976 hijacking of an Air France flight from Tel Aviv. Eric Minkin '72 was a part of the team and is presenting a Back-to-School class on Friday.
