Here are some useful tips and information as you make your plans to return for Reunion Weekend.
Open containers are not permitted outdoors on campus. Campus Police will enforce this policy throughout the weekend.
Wells Fargo, BB&T and Fifth Third Bank ATMs are available on the third floor of the Alvarez College Union. Wells Fargo, BB&T, Fifth Third and Bank of America ATMs are available on Main Street in downtown Davidson.
Dress for the weekend is usually casual. The class dinner attire is dressy casual unless indicated otherwise by your reunion committee. (Men typically wear khakis and a golf/button-down shirt and women wear a sundress or nice slacks and a blouse.) Please note that many of the weekend events will take place outside on lawns or under tents. Please check the weather forecast as the weekend approaches.
Prior to and following the signature events of the weekend, golf carts will be available to shuttle guests to and from the Baker Sports Complex parking lot as well as between event locations. During the weekend if you are in need of a shuttle, a number will be provided to call and someone will come to your on-campus location. If you need a ride to or from campus, please call Yellow Cab of Lake Norman at 704-664-3232 or contact Uber either using your existing account, or create one at www.uber.com.
Operations at Davidson College are unaffected by the recently passed "Public Facilities Privacy & Security Act." Following the passage of this act, Davidson released a public statement, including a map of gender-neutral restroom options on campus.
Join one of the organized tours or enjoy a self-guided tour on Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. From main campus, go east on Concord Road. At Grey Road, turn left. The Farm will be on the left (1603 Grey Road) in about .7 miles.
Our caterers will do their best to accommodate individuals with special dietary restrictions. However, they must know in advance. When you register please be sure to list specifics on your form. It is imperative that you submit your registration by Wednesday, May 31 so we can provide you with the meals you need. Last minute requests may not be possible to accommodate.
If an emergency arises while you are attending Reunion Weekend, family and friends may contact the Davidson College Campus Police at 704-894-2178. Please make sure they know the class year with which you are associated.
The Nisbet Fitness Center will be available to alumni and families throughout the weekend. It is equipped with treadmills, bikes, elliptical machines, Nautilus equipment, exercise balls, and stretching mats. The fitness center is located on the first floor of the Alvarez College Union and will be accessible from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and from 7 a.m. to noon on Sunday. Note: Baker Sports Complex will only be open and available on Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the pool will be available for lap swim only on Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Lake Campus will be open for alumni from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily during Reunion Weekend. Bring a bathing suit, picnic and your nametag to present to the gate attendant for admittance. As a reminder, no alcohol is allowed.
To reach the Lake Campus (152 Lake Campus Drive) from Davidson, take I-77 north to Exit 31/Langtree Road. Go left/west on Langtree Road for .7 miles. At the traffic circle, take the second exit to stay on Langtree Road and proceed .3 miles to Lake Campus Drive. Take a right on Lake Campus Drive and follow to the gatehouse entrance. Parking is free.
A Lost and Found will be set up in the Welcome Center and can be accessed during open hours.
Parking throughout the weekend is available in the Baker Sports Complex parking lot off Concord Road. Short-term parking for those checking in is available in the Smith House and Admission parking lots. Directions and campus maps will be available at the Welcome Center. You can also review the online campus map.
Please note that all Patterson Court houses are closed during Reunion Weekend with the exception of the Summit Coffee Outpost (formerly Emanon, Pax and the Outpost). You are welcome to take photos on the porches of the houses but we are unable to allow entry inside or larger gatherings on the porches.
In case of inclement weather, rain plans will be shared on the main Reunion webpage, on class Facebook pages, through email, at the Welcome Center and on Alvarez College Union TV screens. You can also call the Reunion Weather Hotline at 704-894-3026. Please note that a rain plan may go into effect even it is not currently raining. The ground may be too soggy to set-up chairs and tables.
We invite you to visit The Oasis, a new reflection, meditation, and prayer space provided by the Chaplain's Office, located on the fourth floor of the Alvarez College Union. Open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
In order to grant a refund, we must receive notice of cancellation. No refund requests will be accepted after Wednesday, May 31. Refunds requested prior to the deadline will be processed following Reunion Weekend. Please note that refunds take 7-10 days to process. Online registration will open April 3, 2017.
Attendees are encouraged to register using the online forms found on the class-specific websites on the right side-bar of this page. A debit or credit card is required to submit the form.
To pay by check, attendees should download, complete and mail in the hard copy form found on the same class-specific websites. Attendees should call 704-894-2110 to register by phone or to adjust or cancel an existing registration.
Davidson tries to keep reunion costs to a minimum while offering a wide range of quality activities. Should your financial situation prevent you from attending, please email Marya Howell '91 in Alumni Relations at email@example.com or call 704-894-2642 to discuss your options confidentially.

When posting on your personal accounts, use #DavidsonReunion and your class-specific hashtag (e.g. #Davidson2006) to share your experiences with fellow alumni. For anyone wishing to play golf on Thursday or Friday morning, June 8-9, River Run Country Club will be providing tee times for $96 per Reunion Weekend attendee which includes golf, cart and range. River Run is a private golf club three miles east of campus (19125 River Falls Drive). To schedule your tee time, you may call the River Run Pro Shop up to 10 days in advance at 704-896-7355 or you may contact Joel Campanella '82 more than 10 days in advance at email@example.com and as a club member he can make your tee time further in advance.
A photographer will be on campus throughout the weekend to take candid photographs. These photos, along with your official class photo, will be available through our online gallery shortly after the weekend. Davidson College reserves the right to use these photos in future promotional materials. If you have privacy concerns, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Stop here as soon as you arrive on campus! Visit the Welcome Center in the Nancy O. Blackwell Alumni House, located at 420 N. Main Street to check-in and pick-up registration materials. Short-term parking for those checking in is available in the Smith House and Admission parking lots.
Beginning on April 3, once Reunion registration is open, a list of who is registered for the weekend will be available on the individual class webpages listed on the right side-bar.
