Education Scholars is a "Transition to Impact" summer program for Davidson students interested in driving change at every level of our education system. This program places eight students in immersive, project-based internships with local partners in and around the Charlotte school system.
All non-graduating students with an interest in any of the following areas: social change/change management, policy, politics/government, philanthropy, teaching, economic inequality, or urban studies.
Apply by February 14 in Wildcat Link by searching "Education Scholars Program." Note: Applicants will also need to submit a résumé through Wildcat Link and get it approved by the Center for Career Development before it is uploaded to Wildcat Link. Please plan ahead. Visit the Center for Career Development website for more information about the résumé review process.
The program begins June 1 and ends August 9. Frequent night and weekend commitments are required. Scholars may only take vacation on weekends when there are no program activities. Please contact Allison Dulin at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
All summer 2013 Education Scholars participants rated their experience as excellent.
