Prof. Maria Galmarini-Kabala will deliver a public lecture entitled “‘Mentally Retarded Children’ - Biopolitics and Ideology in Revolutionary Russia.” In her talk she will explore aspects of her interests in the history of political ideas and their impact on marginalized members of society. Galmarini-Kabala is an assistant professor of History and Global Studies at the College of William and Mary. Her research focuses on Soviet history and disability studies.
