Campus Emergency Exercise Today - May 28, 2015

On Thursday, May 28, Davidson College will conduct a full-scale campus emergency exercise in conjunction with Davidson Police, Davidson Fire Department, Cornelius Fire Department, Mount Mourne Fire Department and Mooresville Fire Department.

The event will occur on the main campus area, and the college asks that the general public avoid the area as much as possible from 9 a.m. until noon. The event will include the presence of emergency vehicles, equipment and personnel.

The exercise is part of regular emergency preparedness activities the college performs every year.

This course is designed for any qualified student who desires to pursue a literature research project in an area of special interest in chemistry under the direction and supervision of a faculty member. The latter reviews and approves the topic of research and evaluates the student's work. Admission by consent of the faculty member following acceptance of the student's written research proposal. Consult the department's guidelines for the preparation of independent research proposals.


Prerequisites:

Permission of the instructor. (Fall and Spring)
