This course examines the history, philosophy, and current debates and issues related to international political economy. Students will read political economy philosophers such as Schumpeter, Marx, Ricardo, Smith, Hayek, and Sen.

Students entering 2012: satisfies the Philosophical and Religious Perspectives distribution requirement.
Students entering before 2012: satisfies Social Science distribution requirement.

Counts toward International Studies Interdiciplinary Minor.
