General Keyword Tips- Enclose phrases in double quotation marks.
e.g. "global warming" - Use Boolean operators (AND, OR, NOT) to combine terms.
e.g. human$ and (cats or dogs)
e.g. economy and (mexico not new) - For words with hyphens, try searching both with and without the hyphen.
e.g. "eighteenth-century studies" or "eighteenth century studies" - Search for singular, plural, and all variant endings of a word by using the truncation symbol $.
e.g. librar$ retrieves library, libraries, librarian, etc. - Use the wildcard ? to replace any one character within a word.
