Renewals

Renewals of books, reserve materials, videos, and government documents are unlimited, provided no one has placed a "hold" on the item. Materials you want to renew must be brought into the library. This cannot be handled by telephone or email.

Items borrowed through interlibrary loan may or may not be renewable. Please refer to the item bookstrap for this information. Renewals, if allowed, are initiated by the patron through Illiad accounting. Please contact the Interlibrary Loan staff if you have questions.

Holds

If a book, video, or government document that you need is checked out, you may place a hold on the item through the Library Catalog. This will block renewal by the current patron. You will be notified when the item is returned to the library.

Non-Circulating Items

The following items may not be checked out from the library:

  • Reference Books: These are indicated by an "R" above the call number.
  • Periodicals: Bound and unbound periodicals do not circulate.
