Schedule a Research Consultation Research Consultation Request Form Personalized assistance for in-depth research Note: This service is available to Davidson College students, faculty, and staff only. We regret that we cannot schedule research consultations for people unaffiliated with the College. Research consultations are pre-scheduled appointments where you work one-on-one with a librarian; they are designed for students, faculty, and staff who have longer-term, more in-depth research projects. Research consultations can be scheduled Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm only. Please allow 24-48 hours for a librarian to respond to your request and schedule the consultation. Schedule a research consultation when: You have at least a week or more before your project is due. You already have a defined topic approved by your professor. You have started your research and have a working bibliography. You have already consulted a librarian at the reference desk and need more in-depth assistance. You need help finding specialized resources, such as archival materials.
