- Early English Books Online (EEB0)
(1475-1700) Includes over 125,000 books, pamphlets, broadsides, proclamations, almanacs, and other publications printed in Great Britain, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, and British North America from the fifteenth through the seventeenth centuries.
Note: Includes only a small number of periodicals.
To print more than a citation or one page of a document, you need to add a record to your marked list then click on the "Marked List" button at the top of the page. Finally, click on the "View a complete list of the Document Image Sets available for this record to download in PDF format." Once the document is downloaded, you can print out a range of pages or the entire document using the print function in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
- Eighteenth Century Collections Online (ECCO)
(1701-1800) Includes the full text of 155,000 150,000 books, pamphlets, almanacs, advertisements, songs, and other materials published in Great Britain and British North America during the eighteenth century; also includes digital facsimiles of each of the works.
- Works Issued by the Hakluyt Society
The Hakluyt Society, founded in 1846, publishes narratives of voyages, travels, and expeditions as well as other early works on geography, navigation, and exploration. Documents include correspondence and journals of early explorers of Latin America. Works originally written in other languages are translated into English. To date, more than 270 titles have been published in three series.
