T S Blyth & E F Robertson, Further Linear Algebra, Springer-Verlag, 2002.

Roster:
Derek Marsh, Corey Poff, Colin Thomson, Kyle Yang

Course Topics:
From the college catalog, this course is "a further study of vector spaces, dual spaces, inner product spaces, modules, linear transformations, characteristic roots, matrices, canonical forms, trace, transpose, determinants, normal transformations, and quadratic forms."

Attendance:
Regular and punctual attendance is expected of all students; given the size of our class, we'll notice if you aren't there! You are responsible for all material discussed in class, whether you are present, tardy or absent.

Evaluation:
Class will be run "seminar" style: all members of the class will be responsible for preparation and presentation (oral and written) of material and exercises. There will be a couple of reviews and a final examination. The recipe for your grade in this course is distributed as roughly
