Lodging for SERMON 2010
Davidson College

A few hotels in the area have special rates for Davidson College, or for SERMON. You will need to call the hotel to get the rate listed here.

Other hotels can be found either in Cornelius, about three miles south, or in Mooresville, about six miles north.

• Hampton Inn Cornelius, 19501 Statesville Rd, Cornelius, NC 28031. Ph: 704-892-9900. A block of rooms has been set aside at a conference rate of $85 per night under the name SERMON. Some of these are two-bed rooms; others are singles. About 2.5 miles from campus.


• Carnegie Guest House, Davidson College. Ph: 704-894-2127. Small (eight-room) on-campus bed-and-breakfast. Rates are $93.50 or $105 (suite). Rooms are held under SERMON until Thursday, April 1.


• Homewood Suites, 125 Harbour Place Drive, Davidson, NC 28036. Ph: 704-987-1818. Ask for the Davidson College group rate, $109 per night (these are king bed rooms). About 1 mile from campus. Rooms at this rate are held through Monday, April 5.


• Davidson Village Inn, 117 Depot St, Davidson, NC 28036. Ph: 704-892-8044 or 800-892-0796. Ask for the SERMON rate: $120-$125 depending on queen or king room. (There are also suites for $140-$155.) One block from campus.
