International Education Week, Nov. 15-20

International Education WeekDavidson participation in International Education Week includes food, music, language and information sessions in a wide variety of campus venues.

Vail Commons will feature Russian, Chinese, Mexican, Italian and American food themes this week, as well as playing host to regular weekly language tables in Russian, German, Spanish, French, Arabic and Chinese.

Other events on the International Education Week calendar include Brazilian music, the Soweto Gospel Choir, student research on Korean human rights, a lecture on Germany in Russia, a Hindu Diwali festival, Global Entrepreneurship Week training, and information sessions on an Ecuadoran service trip, Davidson in East Asia and Davidson in Madrid.

International Education Week is sponsored jointly by the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education, to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the United States.
