In April 2011 ITS announced a partnership with Lynda.com to provide access to the entire Lynda.com library. The library consists of a comprehensive collection of online instruction for major software applications and topics in digital media. More than one thousand Davidson students, faculty and staff have become users of lynda.davidson.edu since April 2011. The campus community uses the video-based tutorials for professional and personal development as well as supplemental instruction for students using software applications in courses.
Leveraging our new identity management partnership and affiliation with Internet2 and InCommon, ITS is now pleased to announce an improvement to Davidson’s Lynda site. As of the afternoon of December 9, lynda.davidson.edu will be accessible using your existing Davidson credentials. This means you will no longer have to maintain a separate username and password. Existing bookmarks and course history will be carried forward.
