NPR: College Reaches High School Students with Digital Tools

Davidson NextNPR-affiliate WFAE's Lisa Worf takes a look at Davidson Next, a Davidson College initiative that aims to supplement AP instruction with online modules designed for in-class, blended instruction. Along with partners including the College Board, edX, 2Revolutions and the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School system, and with a grant from the Laura and John Arnold Foundation, Davidson Next is creating AP content and piloting instructional techniques in high schools.

In the fall, Davidson Next's materials will be available for free to AP students and teachers worldwide in three initial subjects: AP Calculus, AP Physics and AP Macroeconomics.
