Jonathan Milner has taught high school social studies since 1992. He currently teaches AP U.S. government and civics and economics to high school students at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. For the past 12 years, he has worked as an AP exam reader and as a College Board consultant leading weeklong and one-day workshops throughout the United States.
In 2005, Milner founded Global Scholars, an educational exchange program, bringing high school students together from the U.S., Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, and Africa. He is the 2002 winner of the Marcellus Wadill Excellence in Teaching Award, and the 2003 recipient of the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Teacher of the Year Award.
