Accomplishing Career Success
Alvarez College Union, C. Shaw Smith 900 Room (in Knobloch Campus Center)
Learn how the Center for Career Development is engaging with your student through key programs, resources and services. Center staff also will discuss ways families can partner to support all students on their personal and professional journeys.

1:30-2:30 p.m.
Lead from Where You Are
Knobloch Campus Center, Sprinkle Room
Join staff from the Chidsey Center for Leadership Development to learn more about the ways students engage in leadership development, the ways they are are challenged in leadership positions, and how the college is committed to preparing students for lives of leadership and service.

3-4 p.m.
Fall Convocation

The College community comes together to honor students and faculty. The Class of 2018 will march in academic regalia for the first time.

4-5 p.m.
Faculty Reception for Families

Davidson College Chorale Performance

A town ruled by a dragon has a chance for freedom thanks to a visit from Sir Lancelot. This comedic allegory by Evgeny Shvarts is deadly earnest, sending echoes from his Soviet world that still reverberate today. Mild violence and adult themes; recommended for ages 13 and up. Alumni families are invited to drop in to gather with other alumni families and students from classes of 2018-2021. Students are welcome even if families are unable to attend.
