International Student Services provides support and advisory services for the international community of Davidson College. Our office is dedicated to assisting international students in their adjustment to U.S. culture and education, to being a resource on immigration matters, to coordinating quality educational and social programming, and much more.
Davidson's international community includes dual and U.S. citizens living abroad, non-U.S. citizens, and a variety of other global nomads. We currently enroll more than 125 students from 42 different countries.
We understand that you will have many questions about coming to Davidson and we are here to help! There are many resources to assist you as you make your preparations for joining the Davidson community. Visit our website periodically for updates and details specifically for new students.
Government regulations and processes are constantly changing. Make sure you contact the International Student Office regularly for the most up-to-date information.
The Host Family Program provides a caring "home away from home" experience for Davidson's international students who would like to build a friendship with a local family. American families "adopt" international students to learn from them and to love them as sojourners in our country. The International Student Office matches families with international students from around the globe. All international students live on campus or in campus housing.
The International Student Office is located on the first floor (124) of Duke Residence Hall. Office hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
