Tuition & Financial Aid


The total cost of July Experience 2018 is $4,000.

Tuition covers the following areas:

  • Room and board (all meals and self-service laundry)
  • Textbook(s) for use during the duration of the program
  • Scheduled activity costs/fees

Tuition does not include travel expenses and personal spending money.

Scholarships & Financial Aid 

Davidson College is committed to access and affordability. Scholarships and financial aid are available to students with financial need. A limited amount of aid is available and is awarded on the basis of academic achievement and need. The financial aid application and all supporting documents are due on Wednesday, March 28 along with your application for admission. All required documents must be submitted on time for your application to be considered.

The completed application and all supporting documentation are to be mailed to the July Experience Office, Box 7151, Davidson, N.C. 28035 or faxed to 704-894-2016. 

The July Experience program is not funded by the Davidson Trust. Therefore, we cannot commit to meeting 100 percent of need for each student for this program.

Deposits and Refunds

  • May 1: A non-refundable deposit of $500 is due.
  • May 22: The balance of the program fee is due, postmarked no later than Tuesday, May 22.
  • June 1: There is no refund for withdrawal from the program after Friday, June 1.

We do not issue refunds for early departure from the program and program deposits are not refunded.
