Thaddeus Street Boinest
Grave Marker of Thaddeus Street Boinest
When one enters the door of Bethlehem Church and looks to the right, the resting place of the Rev. Thaddeus Street Boinest with his grave marker is seen. The stone is engraved with these words:

THADDEUS S. BOINEST

OUR BELOVED PASTOR

Born December 17, 1827.
Entered Seminary September 6, 1847
Licensed to preach November 11, 1851
Died September 4, 1871.

As a minister earnest, diligent
faithful, eloquent, evangelical.
As a citizen foremost in efforts
to elevate his native
state. As husband, loving:
as parent wise:
as friend, true.

Well done thou good and
faithful servant; enter thou
into the joy of thy Lord.

This monument is erected
by the members of Bethlehem
and St. Johns Churches
to perpetuate the remembrance
of the Pastor, who
loved them well, and whose
loss they deeply mourn.

May we meet him again in the
Heavenly Home.
