There were 36 students in the Seminary last year.... One of these, James Lester Link, of Darke, West Virginia, has been elected to serve our Mission at Daytona Beach, Florida, and will be ordained at the convention of Synod.

Meeting of Ministerium: The Examining Committee made the following report: Mr. J. Lester Link, a graduate of Roanoke College and of our Southern Seminary, has accepted the work at Daytona Beach, Florida. A letter from the Secretary of the Virginia Synod states that he was duly examined and recommended for ordination when called to a parish. He now seeks ordination in the Florida Synod. We recommend that his ordination be referred to our Ministerium for favorable action as provided in our Constitution.
