James Wilson White III is this year's chapter President. His current home is Jackson, MS, although he considers Raleigh, NC to be his real hometown. Will is a senior biology major with an additional minor in chemistry, and apparently spends most of his time in the lab working on his thesis in plant population ecology. He has studied tropical ecology in Australia and Honduras, and he eventually plans to pursue a graduate degree in coral reef ecology. Before being elected president, he served the chapter as Historian during his sophomore year and took on the role of Alcohol Awareness Chairman when he returned from his semester abroad during junior year. Further, to the joy of all the brothers and their dates at the semiformal last December, Will has most recently become the Official Delta Kappa Santa Claus. Although Fiji keeps him busy, Will has found time to captain the Davidson College Bowl team and, of course, hunt for the ever-elusive post-graduation job.
