CHAPTER NEWS

We have recently had our formal dance with CoHo. It went great and everyone had an amazing time. This upcoming weekend we have our Fiji "Hold'em" tournament.

A little about our chapter history...

In the fall of 1913 the Bachelor's Club at Davidson College was formed. The group began petitioning to become a chapter of Phi Gamma Delta in 1921 and the charter was granted in 1923. In 1971 the self-selection policy came to Davidson and fraternities had the option of conforming or moving off campus. FIJI chose the latter; therefore, we were the only off-campus fraternity at Davidson. In 1989, our chapter was recolonized. In 2003 we returned to campus and have a house right on Patterson Court. We uphold the same standards that we did when we were located off campus.

Something about our house...

Our chapter house was located at 832 Beatty Street, about half a mile from the Davidson College campus. The house is now located on Patterson court.

What about joining FIJI...

We are more than eager to meet you and your friends! If you want more details please e-mail our recruitment chair, Richard Ellis.
