Auditions

The Generals have auditions every fall, at the beginning of the semester. The process is laid-back, and designed to make you feel comfortable. Prospective generals usually audition in two parts, the first part consists of vocal scales, and possibly pitch excercises. You'll also be asked to prepare a short a-cappella solo piece to perform for the group. Almost anything will do.

The second-part, callbacks, consist of learning a song with the current Generals, and are designed to test your music learning ability and blending ability. If you're interested in becoming a General, contact our business manager (humobley@davidson.edu) for more information.
