Brotherhood

The strength of brotherhood at Sigma can be seen any time. Whether it be dinnertime, gametime, or just another Wednesday night, the brothers of KA can always be found enjoying the advantages of brotherhood. Through organized activities such as paintball, a father/son golf tournament, trips to NASCAR races, and our various theme parties, KA seeks to provide an eventful social calendar while promoting brother bonding.

Because we believe that brotherhood does not end at graduation, we are now also working to improve our alumni contact on the web. We hope to be able to connect alumni living in all corners of the globe to Sigma and each other.

Brotherhood at Sigma is enjoyed in many ways and on many important occasions, but is perhaps at its strongest over Spring Frolics weekend every spring. For twenty-five years, Alumni Advisor Carlyle Sherill has donated his barn to his brothers at Sigma for the now world famous Barn Dance. Every year, Bluegrass Experience provides the music for the party that has become a legend. Past invitees include the World Cup Champion US WomenÕs Soccer Team, among others.

To be honest, life as a brother of the Kappa Alpha Order is a lot of fun, and complements our college experiences here at Davidson by forming lasting friendships along the way.
